The Memories Off romance adventure game series is celebrating its 25th anniversary next year, and it is getting a new game just in time, with a release set for 2024.
The 25th-anniversary game is titled Memories Off Sousou: Not Always True. Staff includes Mutsumi Sasaki, who previously worked on character designs in the series. Steins;Gate series’ main writer Naotaka Hayashi is also on board along with composer Takeshi Abo.
Memories Off started as a romance visual novel for the PlayStation and PC. Since its first installment was released on September 30, 1999, the series has seen eight main series games and several prequels, sequels, and spinoffs. The most recent entry is Memories Off: Innocent Fille, released for the PS4, PS Vita, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2018.
Memories Off Sousou: Not Always True will be released in 2024.
