Korean DJ, DJ Soda, was groped at an Osaka music festival in August and was recently on a Korean program where she cried and talked about her treatment in Japan.
About a month after the Osaka music festival groping incident, DJ Soda appeared in a Korean program called ‘I’m Still Angry’ on the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation, where she was bawling while recalling the incident.
“I was just singing songs as usual, then several fans suddenly started grabbing my chest. I was holding the mic in one hand, and a fan grabbed the other, so I couldn’t escape,” said DJ Soda during the program.
“It was the first time that a hand went inside my shirt during an overseas performance,” she continued. “I felt like a monkey in a zoo after all was said and done. It was very embarrassing.”
According to the performer, she lost 5kg in a week following the incident due to her mental status.
It’s worth noting that since the incident, DJ Soda has returned to Japan, where she’s been enjoying expensive clothing and eating at high-end restaurants. She also claimed that she wasn’t racist towards the Japanese, as she enjoys Calpis, anime, and cosplay.
